Lodge Rentals
We have two unique and well maintained spaces available for rentals at Samaritan lodge!
The Lodge Hall - This space is ideal for meetings or classes. There are plenty of comfy armchairs and we have 10 rectangular folding tables that can easily be moved into the space. Lighting can also be changed from bright overhead fluorescents to more dimmed ambient light. With a large open floor plan and hardwood floors, this is also a great space for dance classes. The layout in this room is also conducive to “theater in the round” or immersive style theater and could be used as a “black box” style theater space.
The Lodge Halls rents for $40 an hour with a 4hr minimum

The Dining Hall/ Stage - This newly renovated space is perfect for events, wedding receptions, concerts, and theater! The dining hall includes 9 round tables and plenty of chairs. Need more tables? There are also 10 folding rectangular tables that can be utilized for events. Other amenities include a projector and movable projector screen, huge bar area, 2 mini fridges for chilling drinks, an alcove with a sink and coffee station, a full theatrical lighting system, and sound system for event usage.
The Dining Hall/ Stage/ Kitchen rents for $60 an hr with a 4 hour minimum
Kitchen - Included with Dining Hall usage is our huge kitchen that includes two ovens, 3 refrigerators, a large food warming cabinet, dishwasher, microwave, and plenty of countertop space for food prep. All reusable lodge dish-ware, cookware, and silverware is available for usage, as long as renters wash, dry, and put away all materials after the event.
The Whole Building - Yes, you can rent the entire building! This is ideal for theatrical productions (use the lodge hall as a green room for actors and the lobby as the “box office”), workshops, and summer camps. Wedding receptions can use the dining hall for the reception and the lodge hall as a green room for the wedding party. The building also has no stairs and is handicap accessible.
The whole building can be rented for $100 an hour with a 4 hr minimum.

Parking - Unlike many venues in the greater Portland area, Samaritan Lodge has a large 60 space parking lot to accommodate events. Need even more parking? A free city parking lot is located a few blocks away at an easy walking distance.
Need someone to run or design lights or sound for concerts, theater, and other performing arts events? Need a DJ or musicians for your wedding or party? Contact us to book one of our awesome technical staff members, musicians, or house DJ’s!
All rentals have a 4 hour minimum and require a refundable security deposit of $250 and a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the rental amount at the time of the booking.

All renters are required to do their own clean up after their event. Clean up includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out garbage, and replacing chairs and tables the way you found them when you entered the building. Event clean-up procedures are hanging up in each room and need to be checked off by renters before they leave. Renters who do not follow those procedures will lose their $250 security deposit. Any building damage beyond basic clean-up will be billed to the renters at their expense.
Looking to rent a lodge space for weekly classes, meetings, or other recurring events? Consider becoming a lodge member! Active lodge members who attend 50% of meetings and earn a certain number of participation points can use our spaces for FREE!
